Talking as fast as I can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (And Everything In Between) by Lauren Graham.

I’ve always wondered how much of the characters you love actually is the actor/actress and how much is made up. I am fairly convinced after reading Lauren Grahams book that – she is Lorelai Gilmore – or Lorelai Gilmore is Lauren Graham. (I just noticed they even have the same initials!) Either way, the character I know and love was fully present in this book and did not disappoint.
There’s not much to say about the book, if you’re a fan – just read it! If you’re not, well, then I don’t think you’re gonna get it. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy it if you’re not a fan of Gilmore Girls, but you’re not gonna get the inside jokes. You’re not gonna feel like you’re on the couch with Lorelai narrating the episodes of the show you know by heart and be annoyed by her in that loving kind of way.
I think only a fan will find the charm in the backstage stories, the season comments and the new season spoilers. (If you haven’t watched the new season yet, can you even call yourself a fan?) I binged the four episodes the day they were released on Netflix, this book had nothing to spoil for me, it was the candy wrapper that I licked when I had finished the candy. That last desperate attempt to make my high last a little longer.
It didn’t work, I’m still craving more.
